If you’re looking to fundraise for the ultimate adventure experience look no further than our Snowdon charity challenge service. From our popular ‘Climb Snowdon’ daytime adventure to a sunrise or sunset experience, whatever you choose for your Snowdon challenge it will be exactly that. Our team ready to help you start your Snowdon charity challenge.
Client satisfaction is our top priority. Our Snowdon hikes are recommended by 100% of previous customers. We’re the number one outdoor adventure provider in the area and three-time recipient of the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award.
We have over a decade of large event management experience and have organised activities for families of four right up to organisations of 500 people. No charity challenge is too small and no group is too large. We’ll work with you in advance to identify your group’s needs and come up with the best plan for your event. We work closely with Snowdonia National Park Authority to ensure our events operate with the National Park’s rules.
Our qualified and experienced Snowdon mountain guides will look after your fundraisers on the day. They’ll meet your group at the start point, make sure everyone has the right gear for the hike and lead them safely to the summit and back again.
How does it work?
When you’re ready to organise your Snowdon charity challenge, we’ll help you along the journey from your initial contact to the event itself. We can provide details of our insurance, relevant risk assessments and information about your guiding team.
We offer two different fundraising options:
Option One - We do all the work for you
Ideal for smaller charities
You choose the date and type of Snowdon walk (sunrise/sunset/daytime). We’ll then create a unique booking link for you to share with your fundraisers who then book directly with us. We’ll process their booking and send them their confirmation and all the info they need for the day. Fundraisers pay this themselves and you can choose whether or not the fee is returned via sponsorship. You would handle the fundraising yourself either off or online.
This option is completely risk-free and doesn’t involve any up-front payment or in fact any payment from you at all.
Pricing depends on the time of day you’d like to climb Snowdon:
- Sunrise/sunset: £49 per person
- Daytime: £39 per person
Option Two - Hire our mountain guides
Our most popular option
If you’d prefer to organise your fundraisers yourself and simply have us provide the safety on the mountain then you can hire our qualified and experienced mountain guides.
Pricing depends on the time of day you’d like to climb Snowdon:
- Sunrise/sunset: £320 per guide for up to eight people
- Daytime: £320 per guide for up to ten people
Payment is required at the time of booking although we can be flexible with adding extra guides as the event gets closer if demand increases. We strongly believe that we offer the best value around meaning more of your fundraisers’ money goes to your charity.
How do we get started?
If you’re ready to have MountainXperience organise your Snowdon charity challenge or have any questions, please contact us to get the ball rolling. We’ll send you a copy of our Charity and Corporate Challenges guide which will tell you everything you need to know. It would be useful for us to have an idea of when you would like to take on this adventure (what time of year or even your ideal choice of date) as well as whether you’d like to do a daytime or a sunrise/sunset challenge. A rough idea of numbers would also be useful.
