Experience Snowdonia from a different perspective on our 2-hour Guided Kayak Adventure on the tranquil waters of Llyn Padarn. Our experienced guides will take you on an epic journey with breathtaking views of Snowdon, Crib Goch, Moel Eilio, and their surrounding mountain ranges. We are in a prime location to view the slate mines that have been recently recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site.
Join us aboard the Island Princess for a gentle cruise along the Menai Strait to Puffin Island, where you have the opportunity to view an abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat, including guillemots, cormorants, kittiwakes, razorbills and of course the puffin. The east end of the island is home to a colony of grey seals and you may be lucky in spotting a bottlenose dolphin or harbour porpoise! As we cruise down the Strait, there is plenty of opportunity to take in the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia mountain range and Anglesey coastline, and we’ll also share some local history as we pass various sites along the shore.
Here in North Wales we have an excellent range of canyons to explore. If you want an exhilarating adventure, this is definitely for you! Fully kitted out in wetsuits, bouyancy aids and helmets you'll experience a session like no other. You will abseil down huge waterfalls and experience the highest jumps that we have to offer.
This 3 hour trip is perfect for the beginner and suitable for the whole family, with more time to try for different species; there’s also a view of Puffin Island! Our helpful crew will be at hand to help you throughout the trip. What could I catch? Whiting and mackerel are the main species that you could catch on these trips, with herring possible during the season and a chance of dogfish, gurnard and pollock depending on tides.
Experience a guided trip over the stunning Pontctsyllte Aqueduct. A UNESCO world heritage site you’ll experience this as it’s meant to be, from the waters edge. We will transport you from our centre to the site and along with our instructor you will experience the wonder of this amazing site. During this 2 1/2 hour session you will be guided along some fantastic sections of the Shropshire Union Canal finishing over the Pontycysyllte Aqueduct.
Never Tried Open Canoeing Before? Now is the Time! 2 People Per Canoe Please Note: There is a 2 person booking minimum. In order to book a child, you must book an adult first. Duration 2.5 Hours About Never tried Open Canoeing before? That doesn’t matter. Come along on our beginner sessions and we will tell you all you need to know to get the boat going in a straight line. We will also play games and generally have a good time.
