Born on the coast of Maine in the USA, Sadie’s thirst for adventure took her to the American West where she hiked the 2,600-mile Pacific Crest and 2,500-mile Continental Divide trails.
Following an undergraduate degree in Adventure Education and Wilderness Leadership, she led two-four week backpacking and climbing courses in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Cascade Range and the canyons of the Mogollon Rim in Arizona.
Sadie moved to North Wales in 2022 and earned her Mountain Leader qualification in 2023. In her free time, she enjoys all forms of rambling in wild places – from walking to scrambling, climbing, backcountry skiing, boating and swimming.
She can also be found repairing outdoor gear for the fabulous team at Snowdonia Gear Repair, baking bread, sketching and playing board games in front of the fire.
